I am considering medical cannabis for the first time
Start with an assessment of your symptoms and medical history. Describe what is affecting your daily life, what you have already tried and what you want help with. You do not need to choose a strain before speaking with the practitioner.
Cannabox's online application is for adults aged 20 or older. Prepare your Thai ID or passport, current medicines, allergies and relevant medical records. I already have a Thai PT33 prescription
Contact your chosen dispensary before travelling. Ask whether it can dispense against your current prescription, which documents it needs and how the original will be handled. If Cannabox coordinated your assessment, contact our team about the document arrangements.
If the original is already held by another establishment, ask the issuing provider and both locations what is required before changing dispensaries. Do not assume one document can be reused across shops or that you need to pay for another assessment before checking.
I am returning for further care
Contact your treating practitioner before the prescribed treatment period ends. Bring your previous instructions and notes about symptom changes, side effects and any changes to your medicines. Ask whether a further assessment is needed and what it costs.

From your first application to your dispensary visit
1. Prepare your details
The Cannabox form takes you through patient details, medical information, then documents, payment and consent. Have these ready:
- A clear copy of your Thai ID or passport photo page.
- A photo of yourself holding that same document, as required by Cannabox's identity check.
- Your symptoms, relevant treatment history, medicines, supplements and allergies.
- Your current city and preferred contact method for the review and document arrangements.

2. Complete the medical review
Cannabox coordinates your application for assessment by call. The authorized practitioner reviews your information and may request further details. Tell them about pregnancy or breastfeeding, mental health history, alcohol or sedative use, and previous reactions to cannabis.
You may receive a prescription, a request for more information or advice that cannabis is not appropriate. If no prescription is issued, ask the practitioner about other care options. Payment covers the assessment and does not guarantee approval.
3. Choose where to receive prescribed treatment
If approved, Cannabox can share Bangkok dispensary options, or you can choose another licensed location. Confirm that the specific branch can handle your prescription and the required records. Check its current licence, opening hours, accessibility and available preparations before deciding.

4. Coordinate your original PT33
For a prescription arranged through Cannabox, confirm with our team where the original PT33 should be sent. We can coordinate sending it to your chosen dispensary. Confirm the recipient, delivery charge and dispatch estimate first.
Document dispatch and the dispensary's checks take separate time. Ask the shop to confirm receipt and when it can check your documents before you travel. Approval alone does not mean the shop is ready to dispense immediately.
5. Complete the dispensing checks
Bring the identity document and any other paperwork the dispensary requested. Ask staff to explain the label, product source and batch records, and check that the preparation matches the practitioner's instructions. If it differs, resolve that with the practitioner before accepting a substitute.
Keep your treatment instructions, product label and receipt. Before leaving, know who will answer questions about the product and who will handle clinical questions.
6. Plan your follow-up
Ask the practitioner what to monitor and when to return. Keep brief notes about symptoms, daily functioning and any unwanted effects so the next conversation has useful detail. Contact the practitioner about side effects or unclear instructions rather than changing treatment yourself.
A PT33 issuance covers no more than 30 days of treatment; the practitioner determines the actual duration and quantity. This is stated on the official PT33 form. Follow-up appointments are booked and charged separately from the initial Cannabox assessment.
