How to earn points

Helpful beats positive. An honest critical review can be useful too. Review points do not depend on giving a high star rating. Each contribution step is credited once; editing it does not repeat the bonus.
Price submission checklist
- Choose the correct shop and location.
- Match the product or strain, quantity, unit, and price. A per-gram price and a pack price are different.
- Use the date you observed the price. Make any promotion or special condition clear.
- Attach clear supporting evidence when available. Keep personal and payment details out of your photo.
How your referral qualifies
- Copy your personal invite link from your profile and share it with a new contributor.
- Your friend joins through that link and contributes 3 verified prices, approved reviews, or a mix of both.
- You receive 30 bonus points once the referral qualifies. Your friend earns the usual points for their own contributions.

What each balance means
- Lifetime
- Your recorded contribution points. This is the number used for your title.
- Available
- Lifetime minus confirmed spend and points held by an active checkout code.
- Reserved
- Points reserved for a checkout code, waiting for the shop to confirm.
- Spent
- Points used in confirmed redemptions. Your lifetime total stays the same.
How to use points
One rate at every participating shop: 1 point = ฿1 off. Your first ฿50 reward costs 50 points.
Open your wallet
Sign in, open “My wallet” from your profile, then choose “Spend points” to see active partner programs.
Choose an available shop
Choose a shop with reward budget available. Use 50 points for ฿50 off a purchase of ฿50 or more.
Create a code when you are ready
Choose “Use ฿50 off” for that shop. Your wallet reserves 50 points and creates a code valid for 30 minutes.
Let staff confirm it
Show staff the code before paying. Your discount is final only after the shop confirms the redemption.
No shop listed in your wallet? There may be no active point programs available. A reward marked “Proposed” on your profile is not available to redeem. Check the wallet for active offers and their terms before planning to use points.
A badge for every rank
Your lifetime points set your rank. Your profile shows its badge, a progress bar and the points needed for the next rank. Earlier ranks stay unlocked; spending points does not lower your rank.

- Badge progress counts verified prices and approved reviews. Pending contributions stay “In review”; you do not need to resubmit them.
- Choose a featured earned badge or hide your badges in profile settings. “Verified visit” stays private unless you choose to share it; visit proof and medical information stay private.

Why have I only received 2 points for a price?
Submission earns 2 points. The extra 10 arrives only when the price is verified. Check the submission status in your profile; uploading a photo does not itself mean the price is verified.
Why is my referral bonus missing?
Your friend needs to join through your invite and reach 3 qualifying contributions: verified prices or approved reviews. A signup, link click, or pending submission alone does not qualify. The 30-point bonus goes to the inviter once per qualified referral.
Why can’t I use my points at a shop?
The shop must have joined Cannabox Rewards and have budget available. You need at least 50 available points. Shops can pause new rewards; valid issued codes keep their value until expiry.
My code expired. Have I lost those points?
A checkout code expires after 30 minutes. Until then, an unconfirmed code reserves points temporarily. Once it expires, the reserved points become available again. Refresh your wallet, then create a new code when staff are ready.
Will spending points lower my contributor title?
No. Spending reduces your available balance, not the lifetime points used for your title. Rejected or deleted prices and reviews can have their points removed and no longer count toward badges. Check “My activity” for the contribution status.
Do points expire or convert to cash?
The contributor wallet currently calculates points from recorded contributions and redemptions; it has no automatic age-based points expiry. Checkout codes do expire. Points are used for participating-shop discounts through the wallet; there is no cash-withdrawal option.
Are points the same as a shop voucher or membership?
They are separate. Contributor points come from activity on Cannabox. A shop membership, welcome reward, or voucher can have its own eligibility, expiry, and redemption rules. Check the specific offer; do not assume discounts can be combined.
What should I do if my balance still looks wrong?
Sign in to the account you used to contribute, open “My wallet” from your profile, and expand “How points were calculated”. Check your activity and any reserved checkout points. If it still does not add up, use the Cannabox chat button with the shop name, date, and relevant activity or code. Never share your password.
