This Medical Disclaimer explains the limitations of telemedicine, the risks involved, and the responsibilities of patients using Cannabox MD's digital medical services. It supplements the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Consent & Agreement.

By using Cannabox MD, you acknowledge and agree to all points below.

2. Telemedicine Limitations & Risks

2.1 Limited Physical Examination

Telemedicine consultations do not allow the practitioner to perform a full physical examination.

Diagnoses and treatment recommendations are based on:

  • Information you provide,
  • Your medical history,
  • Visual assessment through video or uploaded images.

Certain symptoms or conditions may require an in-person evaluation for accuracy and safety.

2.2 Technology Limitations

Telemedicine depends on third-party internet and device performance.

You acknowledge that:

  • Poor connectivity, video/audio issues, or device malfunction may interrupt or reduce consultation quality.

Cannabox MD is not responsible for disruptions caused by technical failures beyond our control.

2.3 Not for Emergencies

Telemedicine is not suitable for emergencies or life-threatening conditions.

If you experience severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, chest pain, breathing difficulty, loss of consciousness, or any emergency condition:

2.4 Prescription Limitations

Practitioners may:

  • Decline to prescribe medication,
  • Require additional information, or
  • Recommend an in-person medical assessment.

All prescriptions, including PorThor 33, are issued only at the practitioner's discretion and based on medical appropriateness under Thai law.

2.5 Privacy & Electronic Communication Risks

Cannabox MD uses secure and encrypted systems.

However, you acknowledge that:

  • No digital communication is completely risk-free,
  • There is a residual risk of unauthorized access or data interception.

3. Medical Cannabis Regulations & Restrictions

You acknowledge the following legal and medical conditions:

Eligibility Requirements

To receive medical cannabis under Thai law, you must:

  • Be 20 years or older,
  • Not be pregnant or breastfeeding,
  • Meet medical criteria assessed by a licensed practitioner.

Usage Restrictions

  • Cannabis must be used only as prescribed for medical purposes.
  • Prescriptions are valid for 30 days and filled only at licensed dispensaries.
  • Resale, sharing, or transferring cannabis products is strictly prohibited.

Safety Warnings

Cannabis may cause:

  • Drowsiness, dizziness, or impaired judgment
  • Changes in perception or mood
  • Anxiety, rapid heartbeat, or cognitive effects
  • Worsening of psychiatric symptoms in sensitive individuals

Do not:

  • Drive or operate machinery while using cannabis,
  • Combine cannabis with alcohol or sedatives,
  • Exceed the prescribed dosage.

Store cannabis securely and away from children.

4. Patient Rights

Practitioners will answer your questions to help you make informed decisions.

4.2 Right to Informed Consent

Before receiving treatment, you have the right to understand and voluntarily consent to:

  • Risks and benefits,
  • Expected results,
  • Any potential complications.

You may refuse treatment at any time.

4.3 Right to Privacy

Your personal and medical information is confidential and protected by Thai regulations and PDPA.

Data is shared only with:

  • Licensed practitioners
  • Licensed dispensaries
  • Government authorities (when legally required)

4.4 Right to Access Medical Records

You may request access to:
